“I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. (Psalm 27:13-14)
Sometimes when your back is against the wall and you have done absolutely everything you can to overcome the situation you are in, all you can do is stand and believe God anyway. The Word says to “count it all joy when we encounter fiery trials” because these are the times of great spiritual growth. It’s part of growing up in the Lord. Jesus never promised us a rose garden, He promised us victory over it all through Him. The reason we can rejoice in the fiery trials is because we KNOW the end of the story! We win! We win IF we are confident in the Lord.
If you are in a bad situation and you have done everything you can possibly do to get out of it and you are just plain stuck, begin to speak Psalm 27:13 & 14 each day to encourage yourself in the Lord. EVery morning, look in the mirror and say:
I am STILL confident of this: I WILL see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living! I AM confidently waiting on the LOrd! I am strong and my heart is fixed on His salvation! I choose this day to wait for the Lord: My deliverer! My defender!
Remember beloved, the Word of God is your sword…use it to create your future!
