Take it Back!

“For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.” (Ephesians 6:12 AMP)

We are all as human beings in a life and death war with Satan. It is a spiritual war because our eternity hangs in the balance. We will either live eternally or we will die eternally. From the moment we are conceived, Satan declares war on us. His goal: to steal God’s blessing and plan for our lives, to destroy our relationship and faith in God and to finally kill our physical body and soul in hell.

BUT GOD…has made a way of escape from this plan of Satan. Through Jesus Christ and His precious Blood. Not only that, but God has provided all the weapons we need to be victorious over ALL the power of the enemy. We don’t have to live in defeat. What is defeat? We don’t have to be depressed or full of fear and anxiety; we don’t have to suffer chronic diseases; we don’t have to suffer lack of provisions and we certainly don’t have to live without the peace of God!

Jesus indeed paid for it all, BUT we have to contend and wrestle with these spiritual forces to enforce what Jesus paid for. Consider this: God told Moses that all the land of Canaan was Israel’s. He gave it to them. But guess what? There were inhabitants…people who were living in that land and considered it theirs. There were wars Israel had to make to take possession of that land. And they did.

We too have been given dominion and authority by Jesus, but we have to take it by force from our enemies; they are not going to just hand it over. Are you sick? Take it back! Are you poor? Take it back! The Bible says that God is a man of war..and He teaches our hands to war and our fingers to fight. Begin to study about spiritual warfare and ask Him to teach you to fight and take back what the enemy has stolen from you!

Blessings everyone…
