“Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides You, who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.” (Isaiah 64:4)
As Christians, we have the most AWESOME God! Think about it, we alone have a RELATIONSHIP with the Creator of the Universe. NOT a religion. We have a LIVING God, One who hears us and responds to us. One who actually acts on our behalf..IF we wait for Him. That is the challenge. In this day of instant life..instant messaging, fast food and gimme it now, it’s hard to wait. But God doesn’t change with the times…He still requires us to wait. Because in the waiting times, He can strengthen us. He can cause us to mount up with wings as eagles. He can bring us to a higher place in Him…if we will wait for Him. So many people today are content with religion, but there is no LIFE in religion. Think about this: Muhammad is still in his grave; Buddha is a piece of stone. New Age is a philosophy of “me”. We serve a RISEN Lord. Through this relationship, we can go where these others can’t. If they only knew what they are missing.
Beloved Christians, make the decision to begin to wait on Him every day. Put aside a little time to sit quietly before Him and let Him direct your paths…He will do it…if you wait for Him.
