“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
What a privilege and honor to be invited into the very Presence of the Creator of the universe. We tend to read this scripture and think, “what a great perk” but it is so much more than that…it’s a powerful resource that we, as Christians have to get our problems resolved, no matter how tough. Jesus Christ paved the way through His Blood for us to be able to go directly to the Heart of God and get help. Going boldly means going in confidence and faith that you are going to get the help you need. When we mess up we can get mercy and forgiveness. When life’s trials come at us we can find grace, which is unmerited favor, from God to get through the trial. He never says we won’t have troubles, but He does promise to go with us and bring us safely on the other side. Let us all take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to go BOLDY to the throne of grace!
