“And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).” (I Thess. 5:23)
What a wonderful promise this is! When we blow it, when you really mess up and wonder “how am I going to get back to Him after this?” Satan is quick to bring condemnation when we mess up, but resist it and run straight back to Him and repent quickly. Don’t let the sun go down on it. Confess it and put it under the Blood of Jesus. Ask for forgiveness and more importantly RECEIVE that forgiveness by faith! There…you are back in His arms again!
He is faithful to wash you off and clean you up to continue on with the plan He has for your life. He is faithful to separate you from the profane things…if you let Him. He is faithful to hide you in the shadow of His wings, to be found blameless at the Lord Jesus’ coming. If you have messed up or feel your sins are too much for Him to handle..you are wrong. He is capable of handling ANYTHING you have to get rid of. Even if everyone hates you for what you have done…He does not. He loves, loves, loves YOU. All you have to do is cry out…save me Jesus..and He will.
