“But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.” (Isaiah 54:17 AMP)
It would be wonderful if we could go through life with no troubles. Unfortunately, that is not the case. Jesus said that we would have trials and tribulations, but that He has overcome the world through His Blood. He has given us great and wonderful promises of victory in these troubles! Once again more good news out of His Word!
We can stand on this scripture when we encounter a fiery trial. We can say to the enemy “your weapons will not prosper against me!” Every tongue speaking words to destroy you, shall be shown to be wrong.
We have a great heritage! It is full of peace, righteousness, security and triumph over opposition. But we have a role to play too. Jesus Christ is the Servant of the Lord and we are to allow the Holy Spirit to reproduce His character in us. Ask the Holy Spirit to reproduce in YOU more of the character of Jesus and stand on this word in your fiery trial today…
