Mountains and Valleys

“I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongs to the Lord; May Your blessing be upon Your people. Selah.” (Psalm 3:6-8)

Mountain tops and valleys make up life’s path. You are on top of the world one day and in the valley of the shadow of death the next. Although, this is all part of life’s journey, you have a God who is your defender and who has promised to never leave you!

Praise Him for and during the mountain tops days and praise Him and call out to Him when you are in the valleys. He will bring you through it all. He says “when you walk through the fire, the flames won’t kindle upon you and when you walk through the waters they won’t overflow you.”

We have great promises throughout the Word of God. If you are on top of the mountain today: REJOICE AND PRAISE HIM! Thank Him for the time of rejoicing. If you are in a valley, call upon Him today and look up, for you are on your way to the top of the next mountain! Encourage yourself in His Word today. Let the words build up your confidence in His ability to deliver you safely to the mountain top.

Blessings everyone…
