“And when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all assembled together in one place. When suddenly there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each one of them.” (Acts 2:1-3).
There is power in complete unity between people. Jesus told the early church believers to wait in Jerusalem for the power of the Holy Spirit to come to them. They were together in the same place praying the same thing until the day of Pentecost and then they hit a gusher.
The Holy Spirit came in like a mighty tempest blast. The broke through and the world has never been the same since that time! This doesn’t have to be a one time deal. That same Holy Spirit wants to come in to give us a breakthrough…in this time, in these days.
Whatever your denomination, whatever your beliefs, there is still power to all believers who pray in one accord for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Unity. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are One God..complete unity. He wants that for His church regardless of denomination. It can start with you in your church today…seek the power of unity and just watch what God will do in your church!
