“Now Faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title-deed) of the things we hope for, being the proof of things we do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.]” (Hebrews 11:1)
Hope does not equal faith. Hope is the beginning of faith. Hope is a dream in your heart that you may or may not have voiced to God. Faith is the next level up from hope. Faith is convinced that your hope will actually happen.
Say you buy a car and they give you the title in exchange for your money. At the moment you receive the title, the car belongs to you even if the car isn’t on the lot at that time. You know that you will be driving that car shortly because you have proof of purchase.
Faith is the proof of purchase of your hope. Once you make the transaction with God for your hope, it turns into faith because you are really expecting it to come forth. What hopes are burning in your heart? Ask Him and you shall receive if you turn your hopes into real faith…you can actually have it.
Blessings everyone…
