“No man has ever seen God at any time; the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father. He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].” (John 1:18)
There is no possible way to reach the Father except through His Son Jesus Christ. Only Jesus can bring you into His Presence. It is only through Jesus’ Blood that the Father will accept us. Jesus said “I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life; no one can see the Father except through Me.”
People try to say that all roads lead to God. It is not true. There is a narrow road and that road is Jesus Christ. The Bible says that “there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is death.”
It all boils down to one thing: hunger and love for God and the things of God. If you aren’t hungry and don’t love Him, then it is comforting to believe that all roads lead to Him. But if you are hungry and love Him, He can be found in Jesus Christ. He gives everyone the freedom to choose: choose life (with Him) or death (without Him).
Father I pray that today, many will choose life. Let the Light of Jesus shine today and reach someone in desperate need of a Savior.
