“For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come; nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Roman 8:38-39)
How many times have we all doubted God’s motives towards us? When you are in the middle of a crisis, its hard to have strong, immovable faith in anything. It’s hard, but not impossible. How can we be fully persuaded, beyond doubt that God is for us and not against us? By getting to know Him more and more intimately.
This scriptures tells us that God doesn’t change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. His love for you and me will always be there. We are the ones who change, who flounder, who flip-flop with the winds of change. He loves us when we turn away from Him, when we reject Him. That love never fades away.
God’s love and motives towards us are always for our benefit. He doesn’t want you sick, He wants you to prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers. We are the ones who walk away and even when we do, His love is still there.
Beloved, determine in your heart today to become fully persuaded, beyond doubt and convinced of the depth of the Father’s love for YOU. Turn back to Him and start developing an intimate relationship with Him. He’s been there all along…
