Beyond Imagination

“Now to Him Who, by the power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super-abundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams]–To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)

This is the Father’s promise to us when we put our trust in Him. The power of the Holy Spirit that He has put into us when we gave our hearts to Jesus. That same power is able to carry out His purpose for us–IF we trust Him.

He is able and more than that, He WANTS to “do super-abundantly, far over and above all that we dare to ask or think.” What He wants to do in our lives, is not even conceivable to our human minds. We can try to imagine..just let our imagination try to capture what He wants to do–and that wouldn’t even come close.

I Corinthians 2:9 says “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him.” These promises become reality when we pursue God in an intimate relationship.

The relationship begins with our salvation: the giving of our heart to God through Jesus Christ. From there it can go as deep as you want it to. It depends on the level of your passion for it. Passion grows in time spent with Him every day. Beloved, there is so much more that He wants to do for you and through you.

Start where you are at and build on your relationship with Him. Day by day, time spent with Him and in His Word, will transform your life into something you can’t even imagine.

Blessings everyone…

It’s true, God does for us what we can’t even imagine. He knows our heart and it is His heart to give us the desire of our heart. Although I did pretty well before Christ; I’ve done far more than I could have imagined now I have Him Lord of my life. Thank you Jesus.

You are so right Peter, we can go only so far in life without Him. And we can feel good about ourselves in our own efforts. But as you and I both know, with Jesus as Lord of our lives, there is so much more for us to experience–more than we can imagine. Thanks for sharing!
