Love Begins With You

“Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous and distribute and contribute to the needy [of the church as embodiment and proof of fellowship], for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.” (Hebrews 13:16)

The way Christians live their lives is supposed to be an example of the love of God. We are supposed to be the salt and the light in this dark world to help others find Jesus.

They say that charity begins at home, and it does. The Church home. There are people in our own churches who are struggling in this country. When each church, begins to do this one scripture, the world around us will change.

People will be drawn to a kind and loving God. They will be drawn to the sense of community and belonging that every human being needs deep down inside. To be part of something bigger than themselves.

We don’t need a “church program” to begin. We, as individuals, can begin to look around us and find someone in our own world to be kind to and do good to. This will bring a smile to the face of our heavenly Father.

Blessings everyone…
