“And they have overcome (conquered) him (Satan) by means of the Blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].” (Revelation 12:11)
We have the ability and the wherewithal to overcome all the power of the enemy. This is such a great promise! The words “Blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony” are keys to overcoming the enemy tormenting your life!
The Blood of Jesus has the power to completely destroy all of Satan’s strongholds in your life. If you apply it to your life, he has to flee. The Word says to “resist the devil and he will flee.”
The second key is our WORDS. A testimony is what you believe, in addition to what God has done in your life. It is speaking the Word of God into your situation to bring actual change into it. It is testifying what you believe God is doing in your situation every day.
How can we apply this in our every day lives though? The principle is one thing, but how do I use it in real life? Say you are in a financial crisis and you want to get victory over it. Here is a sample prayer to pattern after:
“FATHER, I COME BOLDLY TO YOUR THRONE OF GRACE FOR HELP IN THIS TIME OF TROUBLE. I THANK YOU THAT JESUS PAID FOR MY VICTORY ON THE CROSS AND THROUGH HIS RESURRECTION. I THANK YOU THAT THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB IS MY VICTORY!
I DECREE AND DECLARE THAT THE PROMISE OF FINANCIAL PROVISION IS MINE BECAUSE IT IS WRITTEN, “BELOVED, I WISH ABOVE ALL THINGS THAT YOU PROSPER AND BE IN HEALTH, EVEN AS YOUR SOULS PROSPER.” I STAND ON THIS PROMISE IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
I APPLY THE BLOOD OF JESUS OVER MY FINANCES TODAY IN JESUS’ NAME. I DECLARE THAT I AM THE LENDER AND NOT THE BORROWER! MY STOREHOUSE IS FULL TO OVERFLOWING WITH THE PROVISIONS OF MY FATHER! THANK YOU LORD FOR WISDOM IN MANAGING MY FINANCES ACCORDING TO YOUR WORD. IN JESUS’ NAME I PRAY. AMEN AND AMEN!”
These aren’t just words to say. Put your FAITH behind it and watch what God does. He says “whatsoever a man sows, that is what he will reap.” These words are seeds that will produce a harvest in due season. Start planting today! Truly you can overcome ALL the power of the enemy by the Blood and the Word.
