“Those who trust in, lean on and confidently hope in the Lord are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved but abides and stands fast forever. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people from this time forth and forever. For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the [uncompromisingly] righteous, lest the righteous (God’s people) put forth their hands to iniquity and apostasy.” (Psalm 125:1-3)
Trust. In this day and age, trust is almost a thing of the past. People are growing up without the ability to trust anyone. This makes it hard for them to come to the Lord. What then can bring people to Him in this day and time? Desperation. Something solid to hold on to. We are living in a country of shifting sands. People are looking for solid ground and it can only be found in the God who sits on Mount Zion.
He stands fast forever. For those of us who do trust Him, we are examples of stability to the lost ones in this world. We are salt and we are light. We are the beacons that can show people the way to solid ground.
Beloved, don’t think that your life is not noticed by the lost. They are people without hope. Your life tells them that there is a better way. Don’t be discouraged in thinking you don’t make a difference. God is using you in ways you don’t even realize. Keep trusting, keep leaning on Him, keep hoping confidently in Him and let your light shine!
Blessings everyone…
