“And so faith, hope and love abide [faith–conviction and belief respecting man’s relation to God and divine things; hope–joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation; love–true affection for God and man, growing out of God’s love for and in us], these three; but the greatest of these is love.” (I Corinthians 13:13)
God imparts faith, hope and love into us when we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior. He gives us the measure of faith to get started in our walk with Him. We are supposed to bear fruit and do exploits for Him with our faith as we mature in Him.
As Christians, we have so much hope in God! God’s Word is full of hope. We have Jesus Christ: the hope of glory. We look for the blessed hope of His return! Through our faith and prayers we hope to see our lost loved ones come to Him. The Holy Spirit has shed love abroad in our hearts. We have the ability to love people with God’s love: Agape love. The kingdom of God is built on the love of God. And so faith, hope and love abide..in us for all the world to see. But the greatest of these is LOVE.
Imagine the world if there was no faith. No ability to believe for a better day. Or without hope there can be no dreams to chase. Without love there is no joy of life. No pleasure. No happiness. And no PEACE.
God has given to each of us the ability to spread faith and hope and love into the world, so others can also have faith, hope and love. This is the Gospel. The Good News!
Blessings everyone…
