Precious Jewels

“Then those who feared the Lord talked often one to another; and the Lord listened and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him of those who reverenced and worshipfully feared the Lord and who thought on His Name. And they shall be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I publicly recognize and openly declare them to be My jewels (My special possession, My peculiar treasure). And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.” (Malachi 3:17-18)

Remember the saying “birds of a feather flock together?”  When like-minded people get together, they talk and talk about their common passion.  As Christians, how many of us have been around people who were really on fire for God and the conversation was lit up with passion for God?  Where hours seem like minutes?  Where nobody wants to leave?

God is listening.  He listens and it is all written in a book of remembrance.  It blesses His Heart when His people talk to one another about Him and His ways.  It may seem like fun conversations to us as we talk about Him, but we are really giving Him honor and glory!

These times are so precious to the Lord that He says He will “publicly recognize and openly declare them to be My jewels”  His special possessions, His peculiar treasures.  He says that He will “spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.”  He will watch over them and protect them as a man would any precious jewel he owns.  He will keep them in a safe place.

God is drawn to people who are passionately in love with Him!  Are you cold?  Are you lukewarm?  Are you hot but want to be hotter still?  Stir up the embers of your passion for God by finding people who love Him and join in the conversations.  You passion for Him will re-ignite and He will take you places you never dreamed possible…remember He is listening and writing down your passion for Him!

Blessings everyone…
