The Lifeline

“Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us. While we were yet in weakness [powerless to help ourselves], at the fitting time Christ died for (in behalf of) the ungodly.” (Romans 5:5-6)

We are born into this world with a sinful nature and if nothing is done to bring that nature into God’s realm, we will eventually become eternally separated from God. It doesn’t matter if we believe or not. It doesn’t matter how much we justify reasons it’s not true. The Bible is clear on our destination without Jesus’ saving Blood.

It is this situation that is our “weakness” in this scripture. We are powerless to do anything about it. But God’s incredible love says, No! I will do something about this! I will send My own Son to make a way where there is no way!

Jesus Christ is the lifeline that God has thrown to every human being ever born. Everyone is equal in this dilemma. You can all the money and trappings of luxury or be a beggar on the street and the need for Jesus Christ is still just as great. Everyone needs the saving power of God.

If you need that lifeline today pray this prayer to God from your heart:

“Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. I confess that I am a sinner and I need Your great salvation in Your Son Jesus. I ask to be forgiven of all my sin. I ask to be washed in the Blood of Jesus and be made whole. Lord Jesus I ask You to come into my heart and be my Savior, my Lord and my Friend. I thank You for Your great salvation. I thank You that I am now in the Kingdom of God! I ask that You help me to grow up spiritually in You. Thank You Jesus for paying the price for my freedom.”

Welcome to the Kingdom of God! May the Lord richly bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand from this time forth and forevermore.

Blessings everyone…
