The Crossroads

“For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten, unique Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal, everlasting life.”  (John 3:16)

“Jesus said to him, I AM the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through and by Me.” (John 14:6)

“There is a way that seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but a the end of it is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12)

“See, I have set before you this day life and good, and death and evil…I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live.” (Deuteronomy 30:15 & 19)

“Enter through the narrow gate for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it.  But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14)

The Father created this planet and everything on it plus the galaxy and solar system for us.  He created everything on this planet and mankind so He could have children to fellowship with.  The Father created myriads of angels that are servants, not created in His image like we are.  We are truly special.  More specifically YOU are truly special.

Even when mankind messed everything up by allowing sin into the world, the Father already had a plan to buy us back from destruction.  Mankind is His dearest and most prized possession.  Oh, how He loves us!  You may be at a point in your life where you feel that no one can possibly love you.  You are wrong.  You are highly valued by the Father and you are greatly loved by Him.

Here we are living in this fallen world, but the Father has provided a way out of certain destruction.  But more than that, this path leads straight to His Heart.  That is the Good News, the Gospel.  Not so we can avoid the lake of fire, but rather we can walk with Him just like Adam did in the Garden of Eden before the fall.

The Father made a decision that He would give mankind a free will.  The freedom to choose Him or their own way.  To walk the path He has provided or go down a different path.  You see, we are the only created beings in the entire universe who have this freedom.  We are called the “redeemed” because He bought us with the Blood of His Son.  Angels are not redeemable if they sin.  Lucifer and the angels that rebelled against God can never go back.  We can if we repent.  What great mercy God has on us!  What grace!

We all come to a crossroads in our life.  We have to choose which path to take.  The broad way that makes this life easy or the narrow way that can be hard, but so fulfilling at the same time.  Our choice at this crossroads determines our eternal destiny: Life or death.  No matter where we are on the road to eternity, we can choose life at any time.  He is that merciful and gracious.  Choose life today…

Don’t know Him?

Meet Jesus Here…

Blessings everyone…
