Completely Clean!

“Whereas this One [Christ], after He had offered a single sacrifice for our sins that shall avail for all time, sat down at the right hand of God. Then He is waiting until His enemies should be made a stool beneath His feet. For by a single offering He has forever completely cleansed and perfected those who are consecrated and made holy.” (Hebrews 10:12-14)

When God does something, it is done perfectly and permanently. The blood sacrifices of the Old Testament weren’t perfect and they certainly weren’t permanent. The Blood of the sinless Son of God is perfect and it permanently removes sin from our lives when we repent.

After Jesus rose from the grave, He took His Blood into the Holy of Holies in the temple in Heaven and poured it on the Mercy Seat–forever paying the price of sin. Jesus really did pay it all!

What makes the Blood of Jesus, unlike any other blood? First of all, it is divine. God divinely implanted Jesus into Mary’s womb by the Holy Spirit. Second, His blood is pure because Jesus never sinned: in word, thought or deed. The wages of SIN is death. Only sinners are subject to death. It is for this reason that Jesus was raised from the dead.

The Blood of Jesus is the very foundation of the Christian faith. Today so many churches have backed away from the Blood. They don’t sing about it and they don’t teach about it. It’s forgotten. Little do they know that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.

Like the song says “Are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless, are they white as snow, are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb?”

There is no other feeling like being clean on the inside. Knowing that if you dropped dead right now, you are OK. More importantly, knowing that you can go to God the Father at any time because you are cleansed by Jesus’ Blood!  You just can’t buy that feeling and it can only be found in Jesus Christ.

Meet Jesus Here…

Blessings everyone…
