Thoughts And Plans

jeremiah2911

“For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and heed you. Then you will seek Me, inquire for, and require Me as a vital necessity and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

This scripture shows God’s heart towards us.  His thoughts and plans for us are for our welfare and our peace—not for evil.  How many times have we heard it said “God’s gonna get you for doing that!”  Or “God put this on me to keep me humble”  or “God must be mad at me.”  No!  His thoughts towards you and me are good, are loving and kind.  His plans are all about our welfare and benefits.

He wants the absolute very best for each one of us.  His desire is that we overcome all obstacles in this life and come home to Him strong and victorious!  If people could just grasp this one fact: God is a GOOD God and the devil is a BAD devil.  Our faith would be unshakeable.  We could withstand the fiercest storms Satan can throw at us.  Once we lay the blame at God’s feet–the devil wins by default.

The Bible says that “every good gift and every perfect gift comes from the Father of Lights.”  AND “the devil comes not but for to steal, and to kill and to destroy.”  Jesus said, but I have come that YOU may have life and have it more abundantly.”

The next time a storm of life comes around, remember who loves you.  Remember that God wants victory for you.  Remember who your real enemy is and say to yourself: God is a good God and the devil is a bad devil!  I choose to believe God has victory for me!  You’ll be amazed at how short that storm will be…try it!

Blessings everyone…
