“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be firm (steadfast), immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord [always being superior, excelling, doing more than enough in the service of the Lord], knowing and being continually aware that your labor in the Lord is not futile [it is never wasted or to no purpose]. (I Corinthians 15:58)
People with the passion for God, work hard to advance the Kingdom. They have set their face like a flint and their entire focus is on populating heaven with souls for God. These people really dig in and resist Satan’s efforts to move them off their position. These people just keep on working towards that wonderful day when the trumpet sounds and we meet the Lord in the air!
When passion for God is in your heart, He becomes the center of your life. Passion for God brings His blessings into your life. He will fill your life to the brim with ministry opportunities, projects and people to work with. Many people won’t understand your lifestyle. Even Christians will not understand your passion for God. A person who is passionately in love with Jesus Christ, comes to a place where they just don’t care what anybody thinks for feels about their choices. It has to be that way or we won’t be very effective–always looking back.
Passion for God opens the door to great faith and great faith has the ability to look at the desired end result instead of the current circumstances. Passion for God always involves the pursuit of God through time spent with Him in praise and worship, in fellowship and in His Word. These elements feed the passion because He inhabits the praises of His people.
Passion is like the embers in a fire. The fire is there, it just needs stoking to burst once again into flames that brings the warmth needed. Married couples experience this. The love is there, the passion is still there but it needs to be stoked to burst into flames again. The same with your relationship with God. Life gets crazy sometimes and can draw us away, but His passion for you and I has NOT faded to embers. It still burns as bright as ever!
Beloved, now more than ever, we all need to stoke the fires of our passion for God…return to our first love. He is coming back for a PASSIONATE Bride–and He is coming back VERY soon!
Blessings everyone…
