Homeward Bound

“For behold, the day comes that shall burn like an oven, and all the proud and arrogant, yes, all that do wickedly and are lawless, shall be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.

But unto you who revere and worshipfully fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams, and you shall go forth and gambol like calves released from the stall and shall leap for joy.” (Malachi 4:1-2)

The other day I was pondering the state the world is in these days, not just in America, but all over the world.  It’s hard not to be afraid sometimes, but the promise of the Lord is clear to all those who love Him.  It is equally clear the rewards of the wicked.

As I was sitting there, I heard the Spirit of the Lord say “Keep your eyes fixed on your heavenly home–keep walking towards heaven.  Do not be afraid no matter how bad it gets…just keep walking home.”

I’m homeward bound!  It’s very liberating to know that my eternity is so full of good things, of joy and laughter.  One day, I will gambol like a calve released from the stall..and so will YOU if you belong to Him!

Children of God, take heart!  You have all the promises of God in your corner.  Those who love wickedness have their rewards..they better enjoy this life while they can.  That is all the hope they have.

Now more than ever before do we, as the people of God, need to stay before Him in prayer for our every day lives, our communities and neighborhoods.  For our policemen and emergency workers.  With millions of people being granted permission to pour into our country by our leaders, prayer is what we must do.  We pray in faith and we stand for Him and we keep our eyes towards our heavenly home.  We are homeward bound people of God and that should give us great joy NOW matter how bleak today is.

Blessings everyone…
