The Way To The Heart Of God

“Do not let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in God; believe also in Me. In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you. And when I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and take you to Myself, that where I AM you may be also. And to the place where I am going, you know the way.” (John 14:1-4)

In these times, the faith of many people is being shaken to the very core. Strong arguments casting doubt on the validity of the Father and the Son. Arguments so persuasive that entire denominations are buying into it. For those of us who are hanging on to the pure Word of God, the Lord says “do not let your hearts be troubled.”

We are believers. Believers believe in God the Father and His Son, our Savior and Messiah: Jesus Christ. Even in the face of strong arguments denying the deity of Jesus Christ and even the existence of God the Father–we believe what Jesus says!

Even now, He is busy preparing our dwelling places in the New Jerusalem. We are waiting with our oil lamps full–ready to meet the Bridegroom at the midnight hour to be with Him face to face for all eternity!

Jesus says something interesting in the last sentence. He says “And to the place where I am going, you know the way.” What is this way? I believe it is the narrow road. The narrow road leads straight to the Father’s heart. It is a life of discipline and life of spiritual maturity that takes a lifetime for God to bring you into. Each life is a precious work of art in the Master’s Hands.

These few words are our command from the Lord to get on the narrow road–the way to the Heart of God.

Blessings everyone…
