The Freedom of God’s Love

“And from Jesus Christ the faithful and trustworthy Witness, the First-born of the dead [first to be brought back to life] and the Prince (Ruler) of the kings of the earth.  To Him Who ever loves us and has once for all loosed and freed us from our sins by His own blood.

And formed us into a kingdom (a royal race), priests to His God and Father–to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and the dominion throughout the ages and forever and ever.”  (Revelation 1:5-6)

Freedom.  The very word is liberating.  As citizens of America, we are so blessed to live in a country where, for the most part, we are free to pursue our dreams.  Yes, more and more regulations are imposed, but we are still free to say what we want, write what we want and do what we want.  We are blessed because in so many other nations freedom is only a dream.

As Christians, we have dual citizenship.  We are citizens of the Kingdom of God.  When we accept Jesus’ sacrifice and are washed in His Blood, we receive a new nature and a new homeland!  But best of all we are “loosed and freed” from our sins!  They are eradicated in the Courts of Heaven.  Satan cannot use them against us ever again.

Salvation is so much more than a ticket to heaven when you die.  The moment your sins are washed clean by the Blood of the Lamb is the moment you become a citizen of Heaven and your eternal life with God begins.  Before that you were headed for eternal separation and eternal bondage.  That is why the Gospel is called the “good news!”

Make no mistake, Jesus Christ IS the ruler of the kings of the earth.  He has been given the Name above all names.  He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.  His kingdom will endure forever.  I am so grateful and thankful that He loved me enough to come down here and die a criminal’s death just so I can be a part of His life forever.  It’s humbling to know how much someone loves you.  If we could only realize how deep this love is, then our lives would never be lonely again.  Love does that.  It drives out loneliness.

Knowing you are loved, deeply loved is the most liberating knowledge of all.  Remember when you first fell in love?  The knowledge that someone loved you above all others is such a warm and wonderful feeling!  Now realize this: That is exactly the way that Jesus Christ loves YOU.  Only multiply that by a million and you have an inkling of the depth of His love for you.  Are you lonely, without love in your life?  You don’t have to be.  Call out to Jesus today and get free…

Don’t know Jesus?

Meet Jesus Here…

Blessings everyone…
