God Is Still On The Throne

 

“If anyone does hurt to God’s temple or corrupts it with false doctrines or destroys it, God will do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him.  For the temple of God is holy, sacred to Him, and that temple, the believing church and its individual believers are holy and sacred to Him.

Let no person deceive himself.  If anyone among you supposes that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool [let him discard his worldly discernment and recognize himself as dull, stupid and foolish, without true learning], that he may become really wise.  For this world’s wisdom is foolishness [absurdity and stupidity] with God, for it is written, He lays hold of the wise in their own craftiness; and again, the Lord knows the thoughts and reasoning of the humanly wise and recognizes how futile they are.” (I Corinthians 3:17-20)

If there ever was a scripture that fits today’s world this is it.  Since our nation has kicked God out, our leaders have become more and more foolish, absurd and stupid with each passing year.  Right is now wrong and wrong is now right.  Foolishness is considered wisdom and wisdom is considered foolishness.

I saw a post on Facebook the other day where they are actually re-writing the Bible now to fit their “seeker friendly” audiences.  God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are being hollowed out of it.  Truly the great falling away is happening right before our eyes.  False doctrines and eastern practices are now “ok” in the new emerging church of the twenty-first century.  Who needs The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit?  Aren’t we all “gods”?  The same old lie from the garden wrapped up in twenty-first century packaging and people are swallowing it hook, line and sinker.  It’s really dangerous to add or take away anything out of the Word of God as this scripture warns in no uncertain terms.  It seems like God is being kicked out of His own church!

In spite of all the craziness going on in the world, God is still on the throne.  He knows exactly who belongs to Him and who loves Him.  In reality, He has not been kicked out of His Church.  His Church is true to Him.  They are believers.  They believe in His power and His grace.  They have repented of their sinful lives and been washed in the Blood….yes I’m saying it….THE BLOOD of Jesus.  Their hearts are consumed with Him day and night.  They are actively looking for His appearing every day.

What about all those “christian” churches that are re-writing the Bible, and are refusing to talk about sin and the Blood of Jesus?  They are apostate…they have left the faith.  They have turned aside into the world system.  Unless they repent, they will be swallowed up in the evil world system.  The Word is clear.  The Word of God used to be the standard on which everything was measured.  Today people are trying to make God fit their sinful lifestyles.  However, He is still on the throne.  He says “I the LORD do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed.” (Malachi 3:6)

Father, help your people stay close to Your Word and Your Holy Spirit.  Help those who are following those false doctrines come to their senses and return to You!  In Jesus’ Name I pray…Amen.
