Does Jesus Know YOU?

“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire.  Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruit.  Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.

Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?  And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].” (Matthew 7:21-23)

“But while they were going away to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and those who were prepared went in with him to the marriage feast; and the door was shut.  Later the other virgins also came and said, Lord, Lord, open the door to us!  But He replied, I solemnly declare to you, I do not know you [I am not acquainted with you].

Watch therefore [give strict attention and be cautious an active], for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will come.” (Matthew 25:10-13)

People say the sinner’s prayer and ask Jesus to come into their heart and then they start going to church and maybe singing in the choir on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.  That is good, we have to get “plugged in” to a good local church.  The Bible clearly says “don’t forsake the assembling of yourselves together.”  But what do we do in our every day lives?  Do we spend time in prayer with Him or studying His Word?  Are we obeying what that Word says?  Do we have one foot in the kingdom and one foot in the world?  Are we seeing how close to the world we can get and still have our ticket to heaven?  Is Jesus our get out of hell free card or is He our all in all?  Our number one priority?

The question is not “do you know Jesus?”  The critical question that will determine your eternity is this: DOES JESUS KNOW YOU?  The only way for Him to know you is for you to spend time with Him every day.  It is in building that intimate relationship, that personal relationship that will bring a “Yes, come in to the Kingdom!” from Jesus on that day.  Anything less won’t cut it.

In today’s church world, the gospel is so watered down that Christianity is being abandoned in this country.  It is considered “irrelevant” by popular preachers.  The world has polluted the church by and large, but God always has a remnant of true and faithful believers.  These are the wise virgins and the faithful stewards who love Him more than anything.  Who are watching for His appearing, who are obeying His commandments and spending time with Him in that secret place of the Most High.

Beloved, I encourage you to take stock of your spiritual life with God.  If you do nothing else today, do that.  Your eternity is not an eternity away.  It is right here and right now.  The world is racing headlong into the Great Tribulation.  Never before have we seen days we are seeing now–the world is turning global a little every day.  More and more freedoms are being stripped away.  Times are scary.  Everybody is sensing some big on the horizon.

Now is the time to come back to Jesus if you left…not to a church building, but to JESUS.  Come back and repent and start over with Him!  He is the God of the second, third and fourth chances.  Forget about the disgust you may feel about powerless, religious churches…It’s all about JESUS anyway!  He isn’t powerless, He isn’t religious either.  He wants a relationship with you.  All you have to do  is say, Jesus, I repent of my sinful life.  Please forgive me.  I want to start over with You.”

Meet Jesus Here…

Blessings everyone…
