“Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, it is not boastful or vainglorious, it does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited, arrogant or inflated with pride; it is not rude or unmannerly and does not act unbecomingly. Love–God’s love in US) does not insist on its own rights or its own way for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it–it pays no attention to a suffered wrong. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.
Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything without weakening. Love never fails–it never fades out or becomes obsolete. Nor does it come to an end….And so faith, hope, love abide; love–true affection for God and man, growing out of God’s love for us and in us, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (I Corinthians 13:4-13)

The chants and tweets of “LOVE WINS” resounds from all the revelers celebrating the US Supreme Court’s ruling in favor of same-sex marriage, are everywhere, as are the rainbow flags and the other paraphernalia that goes along with this landmark decision.
As Christians, our Bible tells us that God’s love–AGAPE–love wins in the end. In fact, the Bible says that God’s love NEVER FAILS. It is the love of God that makes us so different from the rest of the world. God’s love is connected to His peace and there is no place on earth to find this kind of peace except with God.
Because of His love in us, we will bear up under this darkness because His love is able to bear up anything and everything! We have a limitless supply of HOPE, people of God–God’s love in us gives us hope for a brighter day. Hope for a wonderful eternity with our Savior–Jesus Christ. God’s love will NEVER fade away–it is eternal. His love is always relevant no matter what the season is. And His love will NEVER end.
These are the days Jesus told us would happen–the days of Noah. They were marrying and giving in marriage. They were prosperous and at peace. They didn’t know that sudden destruction was at the door. But Noah did–and WE know the season because we know Him and believe Him.
Now is the time to pray for all those who hate us and despise us. Those who scorn us and detest us. Those who are abusive to us. Jesus did when He was being hated, despised, scorned and abused. He said they would hate us too. So now is when we let the love-AGAPE love of God shine out of our hearts into this dark world.
Love without AGAPE is empty. There is no peace outside of God’s love. Saints, pray for the lost every single day. People aren’t lost because of what they are doing, they are lost because of who they don’t know–Jesus Christ. When we can look at the lost around us through the eyes of the Father–with His Agape love, we can do a lot for the Kingdom–and that is what we are about these days–the Kingdom of God. The days are going fast when we can work freely for the kingdom.
Above all saints of God…let AGAPE Love win the day–every day until Jesus calls us home!
Stay strong believers…
