“Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to well together in unity! It is like the precious oil upon the head, running down on the beard, the beard of Aaron, running down on the edge of his garments. It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the LORD commanded the blessings–Life forevermore.” (Psalm 133)
The blessings of the LORD God Almighty are associated with unity. Unity is GOOD and PLEASANT. When people are in unity, God is ALWAYS near because He IS unity. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are the epitome of unity!
The anointing of the LORD comes with unity. The blessings of the LORD runs over our lives when we join in unity with other believers. The blessings descend like dew on the mountain of God–Zion. Like the dew that covers the earth early in the morning. Our unified lives are covered with His blessings.
Have you ever been on a team where you were joined with others for a common cause? Remember how great that feeling of camaraderie and purpose was? That is UNITY. In this world where divisiveness is everywhere, ask the LORD to put you in the path of some unified believers and begin to live above the evil of the day!
