“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lamentations 3:22-23)
“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.” (Deuteronomy 7:9)
“What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God?”(Romans 3:3)
“If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.” (2 Timothy 2:13)
There is one immutable fact that holds the entire universe together: God’s FAITHFULNESS. The very hallmark of His character is His faithfulness. He is faithful to care for everything, small and great in His creation. Everything fulfills His purpose and plan.
Even when we are faithless, He is ever faithful. He knows our frailties and our lack of knowledge and His faithfulness NEVER moves based on where we are in the faith journey. He faithfully continues to hold us in the palm of His hand while we walk this thing out. Isn’t God good to us?
His thoughts towards YOU today are full of His love–Agape love. He wants the best for you. He is faithful to work in your life day after day, regardless of whether you are aware of His doing so. Eternity will show us how very faithful He has been to each of us. We will cry tears of gratitude and joy at the full knowledge of how faithful He really is.
If you are struggling today, don’t look at the circumstances. Put your trust and faith in the faithfulness of the Most High. Because I can promise you that you are not seeing the big picture like He is. Go ahead–put your hand in the hand of the Faithful One.
