“I am the LORD (EL), and there is no other; there is no God beside Me. I will gird you (Cyrus), though you have not known Me, that they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting, that there is none beside Me. I am the LORD (EL), and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the LORD (El), do all these things.” (Isaiah 45:5-6)
“I have made the earth, and created man on it. I–My hands–stretched out the heavens, and all their host I have commanded. I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways; he shall build My city and let My exiles go free, not for price nor reward, says the LORD of hosts.” (Isaiah 45:12-13)
The question of who God is has been the most fiercely contested question since the dawn of time. Even today, people are dying because of their belief in God. One group says He is this way and another group says He is that way. And yet another group says He doesn’t exist. Still others say He isn’t a “He” at all, but “we are all gods.” Everybody is convinced of their beliefs.
Most people believe in a supreme being who created everything. The major religions do believe that. The big question is HOW to get to Him, not whether or not He exists. Islam believes Muhammad is the way to God. Judaism does believe the Messiah is the way to God, but they are still waiting for Him. Christianity believes Jesus Christ is the Jewish Messiah who is the only way to get to the LORD (El). Christianity believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was sent to die and pay for the sins of the whole world. His blood is the only way to a right standing with the Father, the Creator of heaven and earth.
All this being said, there is ONE thing that separates Christianity from all the others and that is the PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with EL, GOD through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died on a cross of the most agonizing death one can endure, BUT He is NOT in a grave today. He is alive and well over two thousand years later. He is not dead. That is the difference of Christianity. He died, He arose after three days and He is coming again very soon to gather His followers to Him. That is our blessed hope.
But aside from what the Bible says about Jesus’ death and resurrection, it is the real encounters that people have had and are still having to this day that make Christianity so hated in this world. It is a real God getting involved at an intimate level with His people through Jesus Christ. It is the love and peace of God that comes from the personal relationship with Jesus Christ, that draws people ever closer to the Creator–God.
Christians experience every day, all over the world, God’s peace and love. They experience His very presence as they worship Him. They experience healing to the wounds in their souls and in their bodies when they ask Him to heal. They experience miracles of provisions like food, shelter, and clothing. They also experience persecution for being a Christian. Discrimination, oppression, torture, and death. What makes them so willing to die rather than give up their faith? It is HIS PRESENCE in their lives. Once you are in His presence, it is impossible to remain the same. Your life is forever changed.
He is REAL in the here and now for His people. He is not some disembodied being to be found after we die. We do not have to muddle through our lives in misery and get our rewards in the sweet by and by. Through our relationship with Jesus, our lives can be as rich and rewarding as we allow Him to bless us–in the here and now. Even if we lose all our earthly possessions and live in hard circumstances, His presence is worth it all.
Ask yourself this: can you call upon your “God” and actually receive an answer? Does He speak to you personally? Can you depend on Him to help in a crisis? Do you believe He really hears your prayers and receives them? Do you have peace in your heart?
I challenge you to do an experiment. If you believe that Jesus Christ is not God, but a good man or a prophet, I challenge you to say “Hi Jesus” every day for seven days. Just a whisper in the night is all it will take for Him to hear your cry. A dead man won’t answer you, but one who is alive will. I believe that during those seven Jesus WILL respond to you in some way that you cannot deny in your heart. When He responds to you, and you want to ask Him into your heart, go to the link below and pray the prayer of salvation. God’s love for YOU has no limits or boundaries. Remember that…

Hi Sammie, I’m so glad you are enjoying the blog! I have found that WordPress is very easy to use to build menus and other features. I mainly just explore what they have. I’m still learning :-). They have themes you can choose from. This one is using the Twenty-Ten theme. It’s free. I started this blog as a way to share my faith in God and over the last 3 years it has grown. I share my posts to a facebook page I created for it. You can share your posts on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Pinterest etc. Your posts will go all over the world. I have people from virtually every nation visiting. It has taken 3 years of steady writing to see it. You can do advertising to monetize your blog if you want. I don’t on this blog, but I am working on another blog that I am building that I can monetize. It is about homesteading and health things. It’s really fun doing it. I hope you have great success at it. Lot’s of books on Kindle that are free can give you some great tips too.

Hear, O Israel: YEHOVAH our Elohim is one YEHOVAH. And you will love YEHOVAH your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. Deuteronomy 6:4
In the beginning was the Word (YESHUA), and the Word (YESHUA) was with YEHOVAH, and the Word (YESHUA) was YEHOVAH. The same Word (YESHUA) was in the beginning with YEHOVAH. All things were made by HIM, and there was nothing made without HIM. In HIM was life, and that life was the light of men. The Light shone into the darkness, but the darkness could not overcome the Light. John 1:1
He that has seen Me (YESHUA) has seen the Father (YEHOVAH). John 14:9
YEHOVAH said to my Lord, Sit at My right hand, until I make youre enemies Your footstool. Psalm110:1
YEHOVAH sitting at the right hand of YEHOVAH striking though kings in the day of His wrath. Psalm 110:5

Who is God (Elohim)?
YEHOVAH El Shaddai is Elohim. HIS Son YESHUA our Messiah, our Savior, our Lord in my opinion is YEHOVAH born of a woman, Miriam, who was given the title YEHOVAH by YEHOVAH. Yes there is a Father and a Son, but they are One YEHOVAH.
Praise YESHUA!
