The Blessing of Serving the Lord

“For behold, the day comes that shall burn like an oven, and all the proud and arrogant, yes, and all that do wickedly and are lawless, shall be stubble; the day that comes shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.

But unto you who revere and worshipfully fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams, and you shall go forth and gambol like calves released from the stall and leap for joy.” (Malachi 4:1-2)

There isn’t a better investment you can make than to come to the Lord and live in His righteousness. The value of this decision is eternal. Living life on your own terms without inviting the Lord into it may seem the right thing to do, but at what cost eternally? God’s Word tells us over and over to come to Him for that wonderful intimate relationship He wants with each one of us.

These two scriptures set before us two paths: life or death. There is great reward stored up for everyone who enters the personal relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ. It’s not about a ticket to heaven. Saying a prayer to get a ticket isn’t entering the Kingdom of God. It goes way way beyond that. The Cross is the gateway into the Kingdom of God.

You cannot enter God’s Kingdom unless its through the finished work of the Cross. Accepting His sacrifice and repenting (turning away) from the sinful lifestyle, are the first step in an eternal journey. There is no better lifestyle than living a life full of God. He has the ability to take a shattered life and put it all back together like its brand new.

Blessings everyone…
