Since the fall of man in the garden incident, the whole world was plunged into spiritual darkness. Then once again God said “let light come to Earth!” Jesus came and brought the light of God’s Kingdom to the earth for “whosoever” will accept Him and embrace His ways.
Anyone who has come out of the darkness into the marvelous light of God through Jesus Christ can tell you how wonderful it is to be in the palm of His hand. It’s like walking through a very creepy forest and coming suddenly into a meadow full of sunshine and flowers. He makes you glad to be alive!
Do all your problems suddenly vanish? No, but He has the path out of the messiest of messes. He has the path out of drug addiction, alcoholism, abusive relationships, and financial hardships. Sometimes its a process, but if you take His hand and let Him lead you out, He WILL lead you out!
Imagine being out in the woods after dark with no light. Animals around who can see in the dark while you can’t. If someone came along with a gun and a flashlight, wouldn’t you jump at the chance to let them lead you out of the woods? Jesus is the light that can lead you out of the darkest of places. All it takes is a whisper “Jesus, save me…” And He will come to you.
