“I am the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Me. If you had known who I am, then you then you would have known who My Father is. From now on you have known Him and have seen Him!” (John 14:6-7 NLT)
“Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with Me. To know Me is to know My Father too. And from now on you will realize that you have seen Him and experienced Him.” (John 14:6-7 TPT)
The Way, the Truth and the Life. That is WHO Jesus is, but what does it mean? Jesus’ sacrifice makes a bridge from eternal damnation and eternal life. The Father’s presence requires holiness because He is holy. No human being can get next to the Father’s presence unless they are holy. Jesus is the only WAY to this holiness.
There is only one Truth. God’s Word is the Truth by which we live in the earth. Truth is truth whether we believe it or not. We can all choose to believe the lie of the enemy, but the Truth is still the Truth. The Truth is that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to the Father. The notion that all roads lead to God without going through Jesus Christ is not the Truth of the Gospel. The Truth, which is Jesus, will set you free from the power of sin and death.
Jesus Christ is the first resurrected man to receive the immortal body that, one day, we will all receive. He physically resurrected from the dead in a flesh and bone body that is supernatural. This body is not subject to death. It is Life eternal. Eternal life means that we can all spend an eternity next to our heavenly Father! He longs for this. To receive eternal LIFE, everyone must accept Jesus Christ as Savior, Lord and Master. We must FOLLOW HIM, not our own dreams and ways. Eternal life begins when we are born again in Jesus Christ. Yes, our life with God begins at the Cross.
Life in the Kingdom of God always begins at the Cross and we journey from there to the very heart of God. And it is all made possible by the sacrifice of Jesus’ blood at Calvary. He died even while the world hated Him. The world still hates Him and wants desperately to find a way around the requirement of His Blood, but they won’t find it. They choose instead to believe the lie and will face the eternal consequences of their decision. But there is always hope as long as a person is alive in the earth, there is hope of salvation. That should be motivation for those of us in the Kingdom to pray for those who are not.
Yes, Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Ask Him today to come into your heart and be your Savior, Lord and Master. It is the best decision you’ll make today and for all eternity! He has a wonderful plan for YOUR life…
Don’t know Him?
