About Me

Hello!  My name is Micki Todd.  I love to write and share the truths I discover out of the
Word of God out here on my blog.  I am totally and completely in love with Jesus Christprofile pic2.  He has saved me in every sense of the word and I owe Him everything.  Two years ago He asked me to create this blog and call it “From the Heart of God…”  and I did.  The short devotional teachings that I post every day are straight from Him.  He is the One determines what is shared each morning.

I don’t have any credentials behind my name.  I’m not a doctor of theology or anything like that.  But I know the Word of God and I know His voice.  And I know that He wants to reach out to people who come to this blog every day.  It’s important for me to post every day because YOU are so important to Him!

This blog really is from His Heart to yours…Blessings everyone…

    Hi Micki,

I came across your website after being led to search for information on repentance prayers. I give thanks for the work the Lord is doing through you to help your brothers and sisters in Christ. Thank you for your dedication, it is an inspiration to see what God does with the obedience of His children. I wanted to write also to ask you some further questions about how repentance works regarding certain family situations, as well as ask some questions about some of the prayers you have on the site. I believe the Lord led me here, so I wanted to reach out to see if you could help me please.

I cannot find any contact information for you so I decided to write the message here. Is it possible for me to send the questions to you directly? Looking forward to your response. Thank you so much, and may the Lord continue to pour into you, so you can continue to glorify Him through the anointed work you do in His name.

Hi Stacey, I’m sorry for the delay but I just saw this comment. It’s been quite a year and I’m getting back into the groove after my sister died in August unexpectedly. Why don’t you send me a friend request on Facebook if you are on there and we can do Facebook Messenger chat?

I was just reading a blog entry that begin with 1 Corinthians 13. I’ve spent a long time and can’t figure out which translation of the Bible this is from (though I like it a LOT). Can you tell me which translation this is? Here is the link to the page I am referring to: https://fromtheheartogod.wordpress.com/2016/12/12/the-standard-of-love1/

Hi Mike, thank you for commenting! Yes I use the Amplified Bible most of the time, but I LOVE the Passion Translation. It only comes in the New Testament, Psalms, Proverbs, Eccliastes and Song of Solomon. I love it because they translate from the Aramic and the Greek, which brings so much out, espeically the Gospels. The Amplified is wonderful too. Enjoy the Word of God 🙂

Hi Micki. If you want to read the NT writings from Aramaic, Andrew Gabriel Roth has written the Aramaic English New Testament otherwise known as the AENT. I believe you may purchase a copy from Amazon. As I tell all disciples when recommending resources, please seek the Lord in prayer. His Spirit always guides us into all truth. Laurie

Thank You Micki for your prayers! Your website is such a resource for me since Im alone in a foreign country. May God Bless You and others through your ministry!

I’m being healed from a lot of hurt and I sense that ‘someone’ is praying for me! I do take my daily medicine – The Word of God and worship music. That started to release me from the strongholds in my mind.

    Blessings

Hello there Micki My name is brother Troy I reside in Sacramento Ca, I came across your website from a picture search I was doing, am currently writing a book and was looking to see if I could find an image online i could use as a cover design, google sent me to your spiritual warfare page and I saw a stunning photo of a centurion like warrior wearing the different aspects of he armor of God that really caught my eye, which lead me to read the entire page. I want to commend you on the time and effort put forth to create a simply phenomenal website on so many different topics for believers!…I was curious though about the photo is it a stock photo or something you personally had done? as I am still looking to find a great cover design I wanted to see if it was copyrighted and if so if I was able to purchase use rights as I am pretty interested in it…anyway any info would be greatly appreciated thanks again and God bless!

      Hi Troy,

Thank you for your kind words on the blog! I’ve been working on it since late 2013. I found this picture online through a search for “spiritual warfare” but was unable to see anything on it about copyrighting. I found it on Pinterest and other blogs, so I felt it was ok to use it on my blog too. I use dreamstime to purchase images for books that I write. I don’t see a watermark on it so I really don’t know about the copyrighting. I felt it was ok to use since I saw other blogs and Pinterest boards.

  9. Hi Micki!
I just found your blog, but I actually found it because I was searching for images online of the risen Jesus. There was one that came up as a preview from your blog, but when I tried to view it on your blog, it said “file not found.” I’m thrilled that it did, though, because that caused me to go looking around on your blog for it, and I got to read some of your posts! I really enjoy what you’re sharing, what a blessing to have found it so unexpectedly. 🙂 I look forward to reading more! 😀 😀 I do want to still find the picture, however, if that is possible. I’m speaking this week, on Resurrection Sunday, at our church and wanted to include it in my presentation. It’s a picture of Jesus practically running out of the tomb, strips of the linen grave clothes nearly flying off Him. It was so amazing, I’ve never seen it before! (And I’ve grown up in the church all my life – it’s rare for me to come across anything new, lol.) I also can’t seem to find it anywhere else. You could also see light shining through the nail hole in His hand and one in His foot (the foot was lifted up, since He was running.) The file link info had “/2014/03/” in it, so I’m assuming it was from a blog post around that time, but I haven’t been able to find it so far in your posts – and I’m guessing that I won’t find it, because if it were still up, the link would probably have worked to begin with. I know images online can sometimes be a tricky situation with copyright issues, etc., but if it’s an image from a service online that needs to be paid for a one-time use license or something similar, I am more than willing to do that! Or if it’s from an artist’s website, I will contact them and ask their permission to show it. I just would really like to use it in my presentation during my sermon, and would like to know the source where you found it, then I can go from there. Your help is so appreciated! And it’s a double bonus, because I discovered your blog through this process! So thank you on both accounts! 😀 I look forward to hearing back from you. ~Joneen Gentilini
