“It was You who created my inmost self, and put me together in my mother’s womb; for all these mysteries I thank You: for the wonder of myself, for the wonder of Your works. you know me through and through, from having watched my bones take shape when I was being formed in secret, knitted together in the limbo of the womb. You had scrutinized my every action, all were recorded in Your book, my days listed and determined, even before the first of them occurred.” (Psalm 139:13-16)
“But God loved us with so much love that He was generous with His mercy: when we were dead through our sins, He brought us to life with Christ–it is through grace that you have been saved–and raised us up with Him and gave us a placce with Him in heaven, in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:4-9)
“Why, every hair on your head has been counted. So there is no need to be afraid; you are worth more than hundreds of sparrows.” (Matthew 10:31)
“I know the plans I have in mind for you–it is Yahweh who speaks–plans fr peace, not disaster, reserving a future full of hope for you. Then when you call to Me, and come to plead with Me, I will listen to you. When you seek Me you will find me, when you seek me with all of your heart; I will let you find Me–it is Yahweh who speaks.” (Jeremiah 29:11-14)
“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” (Ephesians 2:10)
There have been times in all of our lives where we were in situations that made us feel worthless. Like we had nothing of value to offer anyone in the situation. It could be at school or at work or even at church. As a child of God, we should NEVER let another human being have that kind of power over us. We have to realize WHO we are and WHOSE we are!
I have been in several of these situations over the course of my life where the circumstances were so difficult, I felt like the worst failure on the planet. It’s hard when people paint you with a color that is not who you are. It’s hard to overcome, but God sees you completely differently! He looks at you and sees a valuable jewel. You are worth so much to Him that He paid a huge price to have YOU in His kingdom!
When we can get the revelation that our worth is determined by our Father and not the world around us, we can get free from all this negativity! I heard a speaker say it like this: “I am free from ME, so that means I am free from YOU!” What does this mean?
It means that when we put our focus on Jesus and take it off of ourselves, we can then see clearly how valuable we are because of the price that Jesus paid for us when He died and rose again! When we put Him first by pursuing the intimate relationship every day, we will get freer and freer from the negative opinions of others. This is so liberating!
I have very recently gotten this revelation and I am here to testify that it works! I have had a couple of situations where I would have been devastated with what was said to me, even just a month ago, but since I have realized my value in God’s eyes, the enemy was not able to connect with his fiery dart!
I can now look at people with a whole new perspective. The love of God is free to move in my life now. It is so amazing! Even in a situation where it is obvious the person is being ugly to me, I felt nothing but compassion. Compassion because they don’t know WHO they are or WHOSE they are. I’m the blessed one. I’m the free one. This empowers me to be a change agent in the lives of those around me.
If you are in a situation that makes you feel worthless and of no value, look up to the Lord and let Him show you just how precious and valuable you really are! Pray this prayer out loud to Him:
Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus Christ and I ask for healing of the inner wounds inflicted by those around me who see me as worthless. I give You the pain. I ask for a revelation of WHO I am in You and help me to realize that because I belong to You, I am worth Jesus dying for! That alone makes me very valuable! I thank You and I choose this day to begin a new way of life pursuing YOU in the intimate relationship! Amen and Amen!
You don’t have to stay in the pit of worthlessness. Look up to Jesus because you are far more valuable than you can ever imagine to Him.
Don’t know Him?
Blessings everyone…
