“Even so it is that Christ, having been offered to take upon Himself and bear as a burden the sins of many once and once for all, will appear a second time, not to carry any burden of sin nor to deal with sin, but to bring to full salvation those who are [eagerly, constantly, and patiently] waiting for and expecting Him.” (Hebrews 9:28)
Jesus Christ did so much more for us than we know to bring salvation to us. We all know He suffered the torture and agony and humiliation of being crucified. Roman crucifixion was the reserved for the vilest offenders. The Jewish law says that “cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”. After He died what happened? He went to hell like everyone else. Since He became sin for us, He went to hell for us. Because He was sinless, He was not subject to death. He also went to where all the Old Testament saints were in Abraham’s Bosom and led them all to heaven. He then put on His High Priest robes and took His Blood and poured it on the altar in the Heavenly temple; forever paying the price of sin in God’s eyes. Now all we have to do to be restored to right-standing with God Almighty is accept Jesus’ as our Savior, accept His sacrifice and we are restored! His Blood is enough to save us fully and completely from the wages of sin. He did so much for us, and a relationship with Him is the most precious thing we can have. Ask Him today to save you, to come into your heart and restore you. IT’s already paid for…
