New Birth–New Life

“Be earnest and unwearied and steadfast in your prayer life, being both alert and intent in you’re praying with thanksgiving….Behave yourselves wisely [living prudently and with discretion] in your relations with those of the outside world (the non-Christians), making the very most of the time and seizing the opportunity.  Let your speech at all times be gracious (pleasant and winsome), seasoned with salt, [so that you may never be at a loss] to know how you ought to answer anyone who puts a question to you.” (Colossians 4:2, 5-6)

The reason that God sent His Son Jesus to be born in the earth is to restore the lost ones to Adam’s former position with God.  That is right standing with Him.  That means that you and I can talk to Him freely any time we want to.  Jesus rent the veil when He died paving the way for all mankind to have access to the Father through our prayers and our new lifestyle in Jesus Christ.

When we can grasp the fullness of this great opportunity that God has provided for us, then our prayer lives will soar to new heights!  Every day we should thank Him for sending Jesus to die so that we might have the chance to walk with the Father!  To go boldly to the throne of grace for help in time of trouble!  The Christmas season in here and we should all remember to give God a gift of praise and thanksgiving for the most wonderful give of all–Jesus Christ: the Messiah!

As a result of knowing Jesus, our lives should shine forth His character to the lost world out there.  Untold millions of people are living today without Jesus in their hearts.  All it takes for you and I to make a difference is to be faithful in our relationship with Him through earnest and steadfast and unwearied prayer.  Our lights shine with our words.  Our speech should be noticeably different from the rest of the world.  Remember, we are swimming upstream, against the current.  Just by our very lifestyles, our lights are shining.  Our faithfulness to our employers, our spouses and friends.  Our kindnesses to those we encounter every day.

Every day is a new opportunity to bless God the Father with a new soul in His kingdom.  A new birth is always a time of rejoicing.  All of heaven rejoices when one sinner turns to Jesus.  Begin today to start the new year off with a new lifestyle of God at the center of your life.  He will use your light in ways you won’t know until you get to heaven!

Don’t know Him?

Meet Jesus Here…

Blessings everyone…
