“O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good: for His mercy and loving-kindness endure forever! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has delivered from the hand of the adversary.” (Psalm 107:1-2)
As I was praying, I asked the Lord to help me to praise Him like the angels do in Heaven. Almost immediately, He said “simple faith in Me from a redeemed soul is the highest praise.” I wondered why, with all the beautiful voices and musical instruments that must be in heaven, would He value my bad singing voice above all that? It’s simple. I’m a valuable investment. My Father, invested His Son into me, a sinner. I’m redeemed. I’m bought with the Blood of His Son and when I sing that out in worship and praise to Him, He holds His hand up in heaven to stop all the beautiful praise to listen to my untrained voice say, “thank You for saving me!”
The song of the redeemed is simple faith in a big God who loves the world so much that He gave His only Son that we should not perish in eternal destruction. What love this is! There is no other religion where the love of God is poured out so. Nothing can compare! If you are redeemed and your know your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, then give the Lord of Hosts a shout of THANK YOU! We have no idea just how much He has paid for us. The Blood of the Lamb is the most precious substance in the universe. Simple faith in Him and in His love for us is the highest praise of all!
