“For God (the Father) so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost), but have eternal (everlasting) life.” (John 3:16)
“See what [an incredible] quality of love the Father has given (shown, bestowed on) us, that we should [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! The reason that the world does not know (recognize, acknowledge) us is that it does not know (recognize, acknowledge) Him.” (I John 3:1)
“But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
God the Father is absolutely head-over-heels in love with people. He is called the Father for a very good reason–HE’S HAS A FATHER’S HEART! In eternity past, each one of us was conceived in His Father’s heart. God has a book for each person ever conceived in the earth. Each life was and is unique. We are each one literally “one of a kind.” There isn’t another human being like us–ever.
The heartbreak He must have felt when His precious Adam and Eve fell into sin and betrayal of their relationship. But nothing can quench that love for every human being. No matter how much He is hated and rejected and blamed for everything–He still loves us. His love won’t ever fail. Ours will and does, but His won’t–EVER.
When Jesus walked the earth so many years ago, His primary relationship was the one He had with His Father. He so loved His Father that He would do anything for Him–even die for us, so His Father could have His children back. It was for love’s sake that He climbed up on that Cross. The love He had for His Father, the love He had for us–you and me. The incredible love the Father had for us–a love so deep He was willing to give everything dearest to Him so He could give us the chance to love Him in return. Truly, a love like this, the world has never known. But today, YOU can find out by simply calling out to Him…He is just waiting for you to ask.
