“And all the inhabitants of the earth will fall down in adoration and pay him (the anti-Christ) homage, everyone whose name has not been recorded in the Book of Life of the Lamb that was slain [in sacrifice] from the foundation of the world.” (Revelation 13:8)
“And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your off-spring and her Offspring (Jesus): He will bruise and tread your head underfoot and you will lie in wait and bruise His heel.” (Genesis 3:15)
God always has a plan. He knew when He created man that we would fall short of His glory. But He had a plan! From the foundation of the world it was decided between the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit; that Jesus would leave His former glory to come through a woman into this earth to be the sacrifice that would restore mankind back to God. To give us the ability to actually have a personal relationship with Him once again. Just like Adam had before he messed up.
Even in the Garden, Jesus was promised to us. “Her Offspring” is Jesus. It is His life, death and resurrection that crushed the head of Satan. On the day Jesus rose from the grave, Satan’s authority to run roughshod over us ended. Jesus crushed his head and made a show, a public spectacle of him in front of the entire spirit realm.
I can just imagine the absolute horror Satan had when he realized that he had just lost it all. That the authority he stole from man in the Garden of Eden had just been taken back by Jesus Christ! Now he is reduced to a con artist. If he can convince us that God is to blame for our poverty, our sicknesses, and all the misery in the world, then he can freely work to continue to keep us poor, and sick and miserable.
The great Gift of God is Jesus Christ. Through Him, we don’t have to take whatever Satan dishes out to us. If we resist him in Jesus’ Name, he has to flee! Jesus fulfilled the plan of God on that Cross. God has a plan for your life too, one that is full of benefits and victories and blessings. Come to Him today..because now you can!
